MONDAY NIGHT RAW RESULTS
11/28/2011

in COLUMBIA, S.C. — An incendiary confrontation between “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and John Cena on “Piper’s Pit” set the stage for an aggressive Raw SuperShow that featured another brutal assault from The Miz and the first title defense of WWE Champion CM Punk

John Cena entered “Piper’s Pit” with “Rowdy” Roddy Piper
“Rowdy” Roddy Piper has never shied away from controversy, so WWE fans weren’t exactly surprised when Hot Rod flat-out asked John Cena if the WWE Universe’s boos were starting to get to him. Always cool under pressure, the Cenation leader refused to gripe and instead insisted that he can’t control the way the crowd reacts, but he can control what happens in the ring.
Cena’s honorable response did not convince Piper, who made it clear that if the powerful Superstar doesn’t face his critics before WrestleMania, he may suffer for it. The Scotsman then added an exclamation to his statement by handing the former WWE Champion his Hall of Fame ring before slapping him across the face.

Although he was rattled by the strike, Cena did not attack the fiery legend. Instead, he returned the ring and quietly exited the squared circle.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW RESULTS
11/21/2011
in HERSHEY, Pa. — With the “Rock Bottom Heard ‘Round the World” still resounding throughout the WWE Universe, John Cena attempted to set the issue straight. Instead, the Cenation leader created an entirely different issue between the members of The “Awesome Truth.”
John Cena embarrassed The “Awesome Truth”; The Miz laid R-Truth out
In the middle of addressing The Rock’s attack on him, John Cena was interrupted, as usual, by The “Awesome Truth.” Looking to rile up the Cenation leader,

The Awesome One and his dangerous crony got more than they bargained for when Cena turned the tables and convinced both Superstars that they shouldn’t trust one another.

The Cenation’s leader’s seeds of doubt quickly grew into a serious issue between the partners in crime, leading to pushing and shoving in the ring. As politically savvy as ever, The Miz managed to calm his partner down, but as soon as R-Truth turned his back, his former friend nailed him with a blistering Skull-Crushing Finale on the steel entrance ramp.

Survivor Series 2011 Pay-Per-View Results

Posted on 18:24 by Unknown
Survivor Series Pay-Per-View Results
11/20/2011 in New York

A hallowed institution situated at the core of the Big Apple, Madison Square Garden has bore a dynasty of cherished WWE moments – Jimmy Snuka’s steel cage-top leap, the WWE Title bout that sparked Hulkamania in 1984, The Game’s exultant return from injury in 2002 and so many more. Add to that list the night “The Most Charismatic Tag Team of All Time” came to The Mecca of Sports-Entertainment to put aside their approaching WrestleMania XXVIII dream match and instead put boots to the asses of The “Awesome Truth.” Though John Cena wasn’t exactly safe from said footwear.

Never before, never again would The Rock and John Cena, arguably the biggest stars in the WWE Universe, stand aligned. But the single instance in which they did – collectively deconstructing The Miz & R-Truth at Survivor Series in The World’s Most Famous Arena – will be remembered by the WWE Universe forever. More so, The Cenation Commander-in-Chief won’t soon forget the emphatic Rock Bottom he received after the match from his teammate and archrival.

Worldwide, droves of WWE fans, Superstars, Legends – literally everyone – wondered how the Cenation leader and The Great One could possibly keep it together. Precisely 133 nights before their rock of ages collision at The Show of Shows on April 1, the vast, clash-ready personalities of The Rock and Cena paired to combat a reckless, riotous twosome hell-bent on eclipsing the ’Mania-bound icons.

As the New York crowd eagerly vocalized, The Great One’s still got it. Both starting and finishing the bout, The Rock showed no such “ring rust” and was perhaps even more electrifying than ever. A win-ending People’s Elbow to The Miz made The Brahma Bull’s return to action a glorious one, but the exclamatory statement to Cena in the aftermath was an aggressive reminder of the joust five months away on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

This unlikely union was forged seven years after Cena (at his first-ever WrestleMania) and The Rock passed like two vessels in the night, much like the NYC buses featuring their iconic faces in the streets outside the Garden. When offered a teammate of his choosing by Interim Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis, The Cenation Commander-in-Chief did the unthinkable, selecting a man who hadn’t seen competition since his last match in 2004, ironically, inside MSG. In the end, it seemed Cena picked the right tag team partner after all.

Fueled by the entwined lineage of his family and the Garden, The Great One returned home at Survivor Series. At the same annual event in which his WWE career was born in 1996, The People’s Champion reignited his thirst for serving smackdown and the timing couldn’t be better. In mere months, his teammate tonight will turn to rival in the most highly anticipated match in WrestleMania history.

Despite a shared victory in New York City, Cena and The Rock ended their night with locked eyes, looking past the physical forms before them and envisioning the spectacle ahead in Miami. While a Rock Bottom rattled the “Reunion” star, who seemed accepting of the crowd’s favor of The People’s Champ, a yet even grander stage awaits these titans.

What unique yet intersecting Roads to WrestleMania will The Great One and the Cenation leader trace to April 1? Time tells all.

Superstars and Divas reflect on WWE’s latest European tour

Posted on 01:21 by Unknown
Superstars and Divas reflect on WWE’s latest European tour

Flight delays. Misplaced baggage. Long lines at customs. Jetlag. These are just some of the hardships faced by those who travel overseas. However, for the Superstars and Divas of WWE, the opportunity to entertain WWE Universe members half a world away makes braving such aerial annoyances more than worth it.

On WWE’s latest tour of Europe, which kicked off Nov. 2, ring warriors from Raw and SmackDown have traversed cities in Ireland, France, Spain, Austria, England, Wales, Belgium, Scotland, Switzerland, Poland and Germany. This might seem like a daunting travel itinerary – especially when it’s followed up by a three-hour Raw SuperShow in Boston – but as John Cena relayed to WWE.com, there’s nothing these stalwart competitors would rather be doing

“We’re always well received in Europe, and the tours are like a mini two-week summer camp,” said Cena, who has collected innumerable stamps on his passport since debuting in WWE in 2002. “I find these tours new and challenging no matter how many times I come to these cities. The matches are always fun and I know all of the people in attendance are enjoying themselves, because at the end of the night they are extremely loud.”

The Cenation Commander-in-Chief has been thrilling WWE Universe members around the globe for nearly a decade, but touring worldwide is still a relatively new experience for South African sensation Justin Gabriel, whose WWE journey began in early 2010 during the first season of WWE NXT.

“Traveling is one of my favorite parts of the job,” Gabriel said. “Our fans in the United States get to see us live every week, but in Europe they only get to see us once or twice a year. As soon as my music hits and I’m out there in front of the people, that’s just awesome. Hearing that response stands out no matter what city we’re in.”

Ted DiBiase, who connects with his loyal fans with pre-show parties outside of arenas, celebrated his 29th birthday during the tour on Nov. 8, and the legions of “DiBiase Posse” members made sure it was a happy one. In fact, prior to a live event in Vienna, Austria, a group of Posse members presented the third-generation Superstar with a birthday cake.

“That’s how great our fans are,” DiBiase said with a grin. “They’re always excited to see us, and we’re always excited to see them.”

Another multi-generational competitor who thrives during international tours is Tamina, whose father, WWE Hall of Famer “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka, passed on sage advice about performing overseas.

“My father told me that every single night, wherever you are, you have to go to the ring with that same passion, that same love,” explained the dedicated Diva.

As exhilerating as these European tours usually are for both ring warriors and the WWE Universe, that mutual enthusiasm was threatened by a volcanic eruption in Iceland during WWE’s tour of the continent in the spring of 2010. With volcanic ash filling the atmosphere, airplanes were not permitted to take off and many Superstars and Divas trying to return to the U.S. were left stranded.

We had to travel for 24 hours to get to the airport, and we had a 30-minute window to fly out of Madrid, Spain, and we almost didn’t make it,” Natalya noted, comparing this trip to that unfavorable ordeal. “We had about 15 Superstars in a tiny, tiny shuttle bus and could only take two bathroom breaks. It was traumatizing. I couldn’t get my shopping in!”

Volcanoes (and shopping deprivation) aside, it’s safe to say that Superstars, Divas and the entire WWE Universe are eagerly anticipating WWE’s return to Europe next year.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW RESULTS
11/14/2011 in BOSTON

Mick Foley presented “John Cena, This is Your Life!”
In an attempt to unite John Cena and The Rock before their big Survivor Series bout, Mick Foley presented a candid look at the Cenation’s leader’s extraordinary life. Hearkening back to a moment Foley shared with The Brahma Bull on Raw more than 12 years ago, the former WWE Champion introduced Cena’s little league coach, father and former tag partner, Bull Buchanan, to the ring.
Unfortunately, things did not go as The Hardcore Legend planned. First, the coach embarrassed Cena when he brought up a traumatizing childhood strikeout, then B-2 claimed that his former partner ruined his life and finally Cena’s dad chastised the WWE fans who boo his son.
Before things could get worse, The Rock hit the ring and delivered a devastating Rock Bottom to Mick Foley, saving his Survivor Series partner from any further embarassment.

The Rock & John Cena faced off with The Miz & R-Truth
There’s a reason he’s known as The Most Electrifying Man in Entertainment. For the better part of 20 minutes, The Rock enthralled a sold-out crowd in Boston’s TD Garden with little more than a microphone.
Calling out his Survivor Series opponents, The Miz & R-Truth, The Brahma Bull was soon joined in the ring by John Cena. Although they stood together against The “Awesome Truth,” the WrestleMania opponents couldn’t help but take a few shots at each other.
But when things got physical, the Cenation leader and The People’s Champion were on the same page as they put the boots to their arrogant opponents.
It was a definite sign that on Sunday, Cena and The Rock may be able to work together.

Why The Rock and John Cena make a Great Team

Posted on 21:34 by Unknown
WHY ROCK AND CENA MAKE A GREAT TEAM!

John Cena and The Rock join forces in less than two weeks at Survivor Series. As a “never before, never again” tag team, these legendary Superstars will temporarily set aside their differences and unite to take on The “Awesome Truth.” There will only be one shot at this, so not only must this surprise pairing work – it will.

The Great One and the Cenation leader are simply too proud, too persevering and too talented to take “no” for an answer. Don’t be misled by past (or future) problems; these two warriors have more in common than at first meets the eye. These deep-seeded similarities are what will help them work together and succeed on Nov. 20.

To be the absolute “alpha-dog,” most popular and charismatic Superstar of an era in sports-entertainment is an incredible triumph. That has been achieved only by a very elite group of Superstars. Both The Rock and John Cena can proudly claim places on that short list. The thought of two such luminous presences working together just sounds like a recipe for success.

Their histories in WWE have more than a few parallels. Both are celebrated multi-time champions, each with dozens of wins in singles and tag team competition. Both are Royal Rumble winners, in 2000 for The Rock and 2008 for Cena. Ironically, both of those events took place at Madison Square Garden, which is hosting this year’s Survivor Series.

Another crisscrossing of their careers also took place at MSG: WrestleMania XX, in 2004. In fact, it could be argued that at this blockbuster event, when The Great One had what became his final official match for seven years and Cena won The United States Championship, it wasn’t just an overlapping of careers, but a passing of the torch.

In the end, the most vital commonality between John Cena and The Rock is that nothing but victory is enough for either of them. They are each willing to win at all costs – and they both want to be the one who gets the decisive pinfall or submission at Survivor Series. They have the shared aim of defeating The “Awesome Truth,” but they each want to be “the Man.” How that issue is resolved remains to be seen, but the fact that The Brahma Bull and the Cenation leader each have inspired drive is undeniable.

That singular motivation to win binds these two Superstars together and will propel them to triumph on Nov. 20. As unlikely a duo as The Rock and John Cena may seem at first, they will prove to be a great one.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW RESULTS 11/7/2011

MONDAY NIGHT RAW 11/7/2011
in LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND

John Cena revealed his partner for tonight’s match against The “Awesome Truth"
Confronted by The Miz & R-Truth in front of a passionate crowd in Liverpool’s Echo Arena, John Cena was unfazed by the arrogant duo’s insults.
Instead, the Cenation leader simply told his Survivor Series opponents to prepare for the beating they were going to receive in the night’s main event at the hands of Cena and his tag partner — Zack Ryder.

The Miz & R-Truth def. John Cena & Zack Ryder
Two weeks before he teams with The Rock to face The “Awesome Truth” at Survivor Series, John Cena joined forces with The Long Island Iced-Z to face The Miz & R-Truth and quickly found out he’ll have some serious competition come Nov. 20.

Despite working well as a duo, the Cenation leader and the internet sensation found themselves on the losing end of things when Truth held down Cena’s legs, allowing The “Awesome One” to score the win. Expect the same kind of dirty tricks to go down in Madison Square Garden

John Cena’s Greatest Garden Conquests

Posted on 01:05 by Unknown

John Cena returns to Madison Square Garden on Nov. 20 for Survivor Series, where he will team up with The Rock to take on The “Awesome Truth.” His epic team-up with The Great One may have a “never before, never again” feeling about it, but Cena has spent plenty of time at MSG in the past. The raucous New York City crowd is known to devour sports-entertainment, and historically has brought out the best in The Cenation Commander-in-Chief. In fact, some of his brightest moments have taken place at the Garden. WWE.com looks back at some of those past successes

Mar. 14, 2004
At WrestleMania XX, John Cena made his WrestleMania debut to challenge Big Show for theWWE United States Championship. After surviving an early onslaught from The World’s Largest Athlete, Cena was able to turn the tide and momentum of the match. Employing hidden brass knuckles and finishing with a devastating Attitude Adjustment, he took the giant's championship in front of an astounded capacity Madison Square Garden crowd. Cena’s superlative performance made it very clear that he had much more to show WWE fans at the Mecca of entertainment.

Sep. 11, 2006
On the fifth anniversary of 9/11, John Cena returned to the Garden for Raw. It was an emotional night for all, beginning with a moment of silence for those who lost their lives five years before. Chants of “USA” broke out all night, as the passionate and patriotic crowd made its presence known. In a punishing and lengthy Six-Man Tag Team Match, Cena led his team of Superstars to victory against the likes of Rated-RKO. Continuing his successful run in New York City, he thrilled the thousands of WWE fans in attendance and millions watching all over the world on this important and affecting night.

Jan. 27, 2008
The Royal Rumble Match – the second at the Garden in the pay-per-view’s history - was a stirring and remarkable affair for the 20,000 fans in attendance. After incredible action and shockers during the entrance (and subsequent exit) of 29 competitors, Cena walked out as the 30th and final entrant, making a miraculous recovery and return from a serious pectoral injury. The capacity crowd exploded and the action in the ring stopped as all watched the Cenation leader make his triumphant homecoming to the squared circle. Ring rust was not an issue, as he nailed the 29th entrant, Triple H, with an Attitude Adjustment and tossed him over the top rope eight and a half minutes later. The crowd went crazy as this victory booked Cena a World Championship Match at WrestleMania XXIV.

Nov. 16. 2009
Madison Square Garden has had its share of Superstar icons competing throughout its storied history, but perhaps never more so than a Triple Threat Tag Team Match on Raw, when WWE Champion Cena joined forces with World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker to take on DX and “Jerishow” (Chris Jericho & Big Show). The World Champions would prevail in this colossal clash when Cena caught his old foe Triple H with an Attitude Adjustment. After the match, The Phenom, perhaps to show how little he felt he needed his partner’s help, performed a Tombstone on the vulnerable and exhausted Cena. It was a proud night for Cena, even if he did receive a rude reminder of just how much of a loner The Undertaker is.
