WWE: What’s Vickie’s new “AJ scandal” evidence?

WWE: What’s Vickie’s new “AJ scandal” evidence?

Late Thursday evening, Raw Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero hinted on Twitter that she would unveil even more evidence of John Cena and AJ Lee’s so-called inappropriate relationship this Monday night, live on Raw. Although the nature of this evidence remains a mystery, it seems as though Vickie will be hard-pressed to top her previous bombshells that have blown the “AJ scandal” wide open.

For weeks, Vickie has dedicated herself to shedding new light on a supposed romance between the Cenation leader and the former Raw General Manager, who resigned from her post in October due to accusations that she was fraternizing with Cena. First, Vickie brought forward photographic evidence that Cena had dinner with AJ while she was Raw GM, followed up immediately by hand-held camera footage showing the pair getting into the same hotel elevator. But Vickie didn’t stop there.

Screening black-and-white hotel security footage on the TitanTron during the Nov. 5 edition of Raw, Guerrero gleefully pointed out that a bathrobe-garbed AJ — in what the Managing Supervisor called “a state of undress” — had seemingly entered Cena’s room after the pair’s “business dinner.” Not only that, but also a shirtless Cena would later hang a “Do Not Disturb” sign on his door!

Outrageous! Salacious! … Bogus?

Cena claims that Vickie’s security footage was doctored, and that he and AJ were staying in completely separate rooms the night they met for dinner. With new evidence continuing to trickle forth, however, the “AJ scandal” is far from over, and could very well hinge on whatever Vickie reveals on Monday.

But what is the nature of this evidence? Will we learn what really happened inside Cena’s hotel room, or is Guerrero slowly unraveling a plot to destroy the reputations of her rival and one of the most celebrated Superstars in WWE history?

Furthermore, how will Cena and AJ react on Raw, regardless of this evidence’s legitimacy? Taking on both Ryback and WWE Champion CM Punk in a high-stakes Triple Threat Match for the WWE Title at Survivor Series, the Cenation leader can’t afford to get sidetracked less than one week before the fall classic. As for AJ, the fiery Diva had to stop herself from physically attacking Vickie last week. If this new evidence is juicy enough, we wonder if AJ will be able to show the same restraint this time around

Survivor Series Preview: CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. Ryback

Survivor Series Preview: CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. Ryback

And to think, CM Punk was almost out of the woods.

The Second City Saint had carved himself a nice little out for Survivor Series following his controversial defeat of Ryback at Hell in a Cell: a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match in which he was the captain, his title was not up for grabs and he had eight Superstars to separate him from Ryback. The end result was almost guaranteed that Punk would saunter out of the fall classic with the WWE Title in his clutches and, potentially, spare himself from further physical harm at the hands of the beast.

But that, as they say, was then.

Now, Punk faces his most significant test since going into business for himself as WWE Champion: The Voice of the Voiceless has been ousted from the 10-Man Elimination Tag Team Match and thrust into a proverbial lion’s den of a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship against both Ryback and John Cena.

The match, mandated by Mr. McMahon after he deemed Punk’s participation in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match unsatisfactory, seems tailor-made to relieve The Second City Saint of his precious title. (WATCH) Unlike the Triple Threat with Cena and Big Show at SummerSlam, opponents Ryback and Cena have no outstanding beef with each other to distract them from destroying Punk. Rather, both men will be focused squarely on The Voice of the Voiceless and his WWE Championship. And while Punk owns a handsome win-loss record over Cena, his defeat of Ryback at Hell in a Cell was largely the result of referee Brad Maddox’s interference in the contest.

But counting the champion out at this point would be both premature and naïve for a WWE Universe that has been proven wrong, time and time and time again, by the resilience and instinct of The Second City Saint. Punk is among the shrewdest of champions, an expert at either manipulating a scenario to suit his needs or taking advantage of a turn of events in the name of preserving his stay atop the mountain. (Would it really surprise anyone if Ryback and Cena turned on each other in an attempt to score the championship fall, only for Punk to pick the bones by pinning one of them?)

The elusive one-year mark looms closer than ever; if Punk escapes Survivor Series as champion, he’ll likely notch one turn around the sun with the WWE Title. The validation Punk seeks in his own mind is closer than ever before, and despite this last hurdle placed in his way by WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon, it’s safe to say Punk will do whatever it takes to persevere.

In other words, to say that CM Punk has nowhere to hide in this match is a small exaggeration, if it is one at all. But he’s survived such odds before.

WWE Monday Night RAW Results: 11/5/2012
in BIRMINGHAM, England

Vickie Guerrero presented further evidence of John Cena and AJ’s inappropriate relationship

“I am proud of myself,” began Vickie Guerrero’s began with an auspicious attempt to further slander the reputations of both John Cena and AJ Lee. The Managing Supervisor of Raw had no squabbles about taking her smear campaign against the Cenation leader and the former Raw GM across the Atlantic, attempting to convince the WWE Universe that the two engaged in an inappropriate relationship while Raw was under Miss Lee’s stewardship.

But before Vickie could elaborate on the twosome’s supposed transgressions, Cena himself marched out to the ring to present his case. Cena’s insults towards the Raw Managing Supervisor were cut short, however, by Vickie’s latest bit of evidence: footage of AJ apparently walking into Cena’s room wearing a bathrobe in a “state of undress” while (from a completely different camera angle) a shirtless Cena mounted a “do not disturb” sign on the hotel room door.

Cena denounced the footage with a smile on his face, but Vickie would not be denied, calling out AJ herself to give her side of the story.

Instead, however, AJ appeared on the TitanTron, shaking with rage and denying Vickie the satisfaction of coming to the ring. If AJ relented and crossed the ropes, she claimed, Vickie would receive the beating of a lifetime and AJ would be fired as a result. “And then I wouldn’t get to do what I love to do,” AJ seethed., and tThe words weren’t out of her mouth before Dolph Ziggler slidled up next to the former Raw GM and wrapped his arms around her, saying, and sneered “and And we all know what you love to do.”

The insult was too much for Cena to bear, and the Cenation leader sprinted from the ring in search of The Showoff while Vickie cackled in the ring.

WATCH VIDEO OF IT BELOW:

John Cena & Ryback def. WWE Champion CM Punk & Dolph Ziggler

We’re not saying CM Punk has the gift of prophecy, but it’s fair to say his and Dolph Ziggler’s tag team contest against John Cena and Ryback was about as rough as they both expected it was going to be. Still, Punk wasn’t about to let such a match go by without getting his two cents in. The Voice of the Voiceless grabbed a microphone before the opening bell, lauding the length of his reign (351 days and counting) and promising to leave Survivor Series as the reigning WWE Champion, confirmed as The Best in the World.

The time for talk ended rather abruptly, though, when Cena and Ryback hit the ring for their first-ever (and potentially last-ever) teaming.

Cena and Punk started things off, resuming their long-running rivalry with a dead-even sequence of mat wrestling before Punk tagged in Ziggler, whose technical acumen wasn’t enough to keep the Cenation leader at bay. But after a brief return by Punk to soften Cena up, Ziggler found his groove. Mr. Money in the Bank re-entered the match with gusto, unleashing a seemingly endless sequence of elbow drops on Cena’s prone torso. The attack opened the door for Punk to tag back in and pummel Cena with a set of kicks and knees that brought The Second City Saint within a hair’s breadth of triumph. Cena quickly turned the tables with a last-ditch Attitude Adjustment on Punk, but a quick tag to Ziggler prevented the Cenation leader from summoning Ryback. The momentum, however tentatively, stayed in the corner of Punk & The Showoff.

Punk kept the attack going, trapping Cena in a triangle hold and alternating with Ziggler in an attempt to isolate the 10-time WWE Champion from his monstrous partner. Still, they don’t call Ziggler The Showoff for nothing, as his failed attempt at an overly flashy dropkick forced him to tag in Punk just as Cena reached Ryback and brought the beast into the match.

The Second City Saint did not last long after Ryback entered the fray, as the beast pulverized both Punk and Ziggler before pinning The WWE Champion with Shell Shocked. Once Punk writhed out of the ring, though, the WWE Universe was treated to a strange, ominous scene. As Cena entered the ring, ostensibly to celebrate, Ryback locked eyes with the Cenation leader and began to bellow “FEED ME MORE!!!” with the WWE Universe chanting in unison.

The message, it seemed, was clear: There’s room on Ryback’s menu for more than just CM Punk.

WWE: Is Dolph Ziggler jealous of John Cena?

Posted on 16:41 by Unknown

WWE: Is Dolph Ziggler jealous of John Cena?

Dolph Ziggler is a Superstar who seemingly has it all: stunning looks, superior athletic talent and the ability to steal the show every single time he steps between the ropes. Oh yeah, and he's Mr. Money in the Bank, too.

What he doesn't have is the WWE Championship résumé and worldwide recognition of John Cena.

On the surface, Ziggler's intense grudge against the Cenation leader has come as quite the surprise. For months it looked like The Showoff's only intent was to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and seize the World Heavyweight Title. He even guaranteed he would do it heading into WWE Hell in a Cell. But as viewers tuned in to the pay-per-view's Pre-Show on Oct. 28, it appeared that Ziggler's objective had changed. Still holding the Money in the Bank briefcase, his fixation had shifted from championship gold to 10-time WWE Champion John Cena and the allegations that Cena had an inappropriate relationship with former Raw General Manager AJ Lee.

Is Dolph merely looking to stay on Vickie Guerrero's good side as she cements her position as the Managing Supervisor of Raw? Or is there something more to this sudden bitterness toward the Cenation leader?

Here's what we also know about Ziggler: He likes being the center of attention at all times. He firmly believes he deserves the fame, fortune and fawning that comes with being the most popular Superstar in WWE. And he's sick and tired of watching Cena be that guy when, in Dolph's eyes, he's just a liar.

"All he does is deny the same things over and over that we can clearly see," Ziggler claimed on "Backstage Fallout" when asked why he's getting into Cena's business. "It's been years of the same Cena story. I'm sick of it. The WWE Universe is sick of it. Someone had to do something about it."

Ziggler would never admit he's even the slightest bit envious of Cena's success in WWE over the years, nor his accomplishments as a Hollywood actor and musician. But is it a stretch to think he craves the national spotlight Cena persistently commands? Should we be convinced that Ziggler is targeting The Cenation Commander-in-Chief, as Dolph states, simply because he wants to expose the truth and serve his duty as "the only real man in this business"?

On the Oct. 22 edition of Raw, Ziggler said Cena is the only person to blame in the scandal that led to AJ's resignation as Raw General Manager and that he thought AJ "would have better taste" — two direct shots that exhibit precisely how much disdain Dolph has for the Cenation leader. Is Ziggler offended that AJ would potentially be interested in someone like Cena instead of him? Perhaps he's afraid of the notion that there could be a fresh front-page couple in WWE while The Showoff and Queen Diva duo is now old news?

Whether or not jealousy is Dolph's primary motive for going after Cena, there is one goal that is apparent as ever before: Ziggler is still trying to steal the show — and Cena is standing in his way.

John Cena Teaming up with The Kids Wish Network

John Cena Teaming up with The Kids Wish Network

JONESBORO, Ga. – International children’s charity Kids Wish Network announced today that through the generosity of the WWE and other sponsors, Maurice Wilson’s dream of meeting his favorite WWE Superstar, John Cena, has come true. Kids Wish Network is a Tampa-based charitable organization dedicated to infusing hope, creating happy memories, and improving the quality of life for children having experienced life-altering situations.

“Generous Guardian Angel organizations such as the WWE help us make a wonderful difference in the lives of many children every year,” said Anna Lanzatella, Executive Director of Kids Wish Network. “Kids Wish Network relies on stars like John Cena to help us make dreams become realities for children facing life threatening illnesses every day.”

Eight-year-old Maurice suffers from a condition called hydrocephalus, which is a buildup of cerebrospinal fluid in the skull. He underwent a surgery to implant a shunt at four months old. At the age of three, he suffered a seizure after hitting his head and was rushed into surgery. Maurice was then diagnosed with epilepsy and put on a regimen of daily anti-seizure medications.

When given the opportunity to have a wish granted through Kids Wish Network, Maurice asked to meet his hero, WWE Superstar John Cena. Kids Wish Network arranged for an all expenses paid trip to Atlanta for Maurice and his parents that included accommodations, attractions and meals, as well as the meet-and-greet with John Cena before a WWE event at the Phillips Arena.

“It was fabulous,” said Maurice’s mother, Yakymia Wilson. “It was a dream-come-true for Maurice. This is definitely something we never could have given him and we didn’t expect anything as wonderful as this. Everyone everywhere knew who Maurice was and he was really surprised. Everyone gave us the VIP treatment.”

On the day of his wish, Maurice and his family were picked up by an H2 Hummer limousine and driven in style to the Phillips Arena. They were escorted backstage and Maurice’s eyes lit up when John Cena walked in the room. Cena headed right over to Maurice, shook his hand and the two started talking about wrestling and their shared interest in classic cars. Maurice presented Cena with a t-shirt and a pin for hydrocephalus awareness, while Cena gave Maurice signed posters and pictures along with t-shirts, hats and armbands to match his own. Afterwards, Maurice and his family were seated in the second row for the WWE event and they had a great time watching the action up close.

“I was holding back tears the whole wish,” said Yakymia. “I really appreciate all that you did for my son. Maurice hasn’t stopped talking about it and he’s still wearing one of the hats John Cena gave him. Thank you so much.”

Kids Wish Network would like to thank the following for making Maurice’s all expenses paid trip and wish so spectacular: the WWE, John Cena, Ritz Carlton Hotel, Avalon Limousine Service, Georgia Aquarium, Center for Puppetry Arts, Legoland Discovery Center – Atlanta, Brio Tuscan Restaurant, and Johnny Rockets Diner.
